LearnNEC is offering a new Electrician Exam Preparation Class for the
San Francisco Bay Area electricians.
All California electricians that are in the process of getting certified need to take this class to help them pass the California Electrician Certification Exam the first time.
It is scheduled for February 6th and the 7th.

AFCI requirements for per 2008 NEC
2008 NEC (National Electrical Code) article 210.12:
ALL 120Volt 15A & 20A branch circuits supplying outlets installed in dwelling unit family room, dining room, living room, bedroom, library, den, sunroom, recreation room, closet, hallways or similar rooms or areas shall be protected by a listed combination ARC-FAULT interrupter.
This was a change from 2005 which only required the bedroom receptacles to be ARC-FAULT protected.
